The Director of Resource Management in the Long Term Acute Care Hospital division oversees a staff of case managers responsible for patient care coordination.  75% travel.  

Additional Details

The Director of Resource Management develops and implements case management programs, including utilization review, intake or discharge planning, and managed care contracting or negotiation. 


The Director of Resource Management evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. 


The Director of Resource Management seeks treatments that balance clinical and financial concerns with the family's needs and the patient's quality of life. 


The Director of Resource Management contributes to the development and improvement of clinical care pathways that enhance cost effectiveness while providing quality care. 


The Director of Resource Management is an effective communicator and manager of information in coordinating healthcare decisions.


This Director of Resource Management is directly responsible for coordinating the integration of clinical case management and social service functions as it relates to patient outcomes.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Psychology or Nursing.


Experience Requirements

  • Social Work/Case Management experience in a healthcare environment required; leadership case management experience in LTAC or Acute Services preferred


License Requirements

  • BSW /MSW /LCSW /Master in Psychology or current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current applicable license in the state of practice, as appropriate.


License Desired

  • Case Management certification preferred.


Skill Requirements

  • Well demonstrated public relations abilities required.


Skill Desired

  • Working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry preferred.
