    The Director of Quality works extensively within the ACO community of physician practices to look at systems that are currently in place make improvements and coordinate the use of tools on an ongoing basis. The Director of Quality sets vision and strategy for Imperium’s quality ACO program.

    Additional Details

    1. Leads the Quality Management and Quality Reporting functions for Imperium Health Management and its ACO Customers.

    2. Develops industry leading market position in quality management processes and results though the ACO business model

    3. Develops industry leading market position in ensuring Compliance with Clinical Policy guidelines set by the MSSP & CMS

    4. Provides training and oversight to ACO Customers of the Quality Management and Quality Reporting functions including the gathering and submission of ACO Quality Measures related to the Medicare Shared Savings Program

    5. Develops, implements, monitors, and directs comprehensive customer/patient-driven quality programs that support business segment objectives and result in improved quality, increased customer satisfaction, lowered medical costs, improved production and enhanced levels of evidenced based medicine performance

    6. Keeps current with the industry and incorporate quality best practices into our organization

    7. Leads the continued development, operation and adoption of quality systems that will meet and exceed quality standards set forth by MSSP

    8. Identifies systemic opportunities for quality improvement

    9. Participates on the executive leadership team

    10. Advises internal communications team on quality messaging to employees and customers

    11. Drives on-going assessment of all business processes to achieve customer satisfaction

    12. Participates in broad-based business and health care industry strategy discussions with executive leadership team

    13. Reviews and analyzes data to determine best practices for the physicians’ offices within the ACO.

    Performs other duties as assigned.



    1.     Must be a Registered Nurse or have the ability to obtain licensure immediately.

    2.     BSN or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

    3.     Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

    4.     Prior experience in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Managed Care Organization (MCO), or experience working with health plans required.

    5.     Knowledge of and hands-on experience with the Group Practice Reporting Option (GPRO) preferred.

    6.     Must have experience with developing and implementing plans for quality improvement in a medical setting and have a working knowledge of systems performance improvement methodologies and strategies.

    7.     Demonstrated success and experience in development of quality improvement strategies

    8.     Demonstrated financial cost savings resulting from quality improvement

    9.     Demonstrated success in productivity/operational effectiveness

    10.  External credentials/certifications for quality management; such as six Sigma preferred

    11.  High level of interpersonal skills, diplomatic skills, written and oral communication necessary to interface with various levels of management and external stakeholders, including CMS.

    12.  Ability to travel for the position up to 50% annually.
