  • Overview

    The Behavioral Therapist (Parent Mentor) is a person who provides support and coaching to parents/individuals to assist with managing children's behaviors.  They will utilize different methods of behavioral modification and positive parenting/nurturing techniques.

     

    Part Time (12 hours/week) 

    $15 hourly

    Qualifications

    Experience Desired
    • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or another behavioral health related field.
    • One year of experience providing therapuetic services to children with special needs.
    Skill Requirements
    • Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
    • Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and their families keeping personal matters confidential.
    • Must possess a strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization.
    • Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
