  • Overview

    Software Support Specialist serves as a customer advocate for any request via telephone calls or emails received by the LHC Group Service Desk.  The Software Support Specialist provides moderate to advanced-level technical support to customers needing assistance with distribution of software, EMR and software troubleshooting, remote access, VPN support, and other IT related service / support requests.

    Qualifications

    Formal Education: Associate's/Bachelor's Degree or Appropriate Level Certifications
     
    Experience:
    • Must have Home Health experience
    • Healthcare software, Homecare Homebase or other Electronic Medical Records system experience required
    • Proficiency in windows operating system
    • Strong understanding of current computer, telephonic and mobile technology
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize a busy workload
    • Ability to think quickly, methodically, and logically under pressure
    • Strong Customer Service Skills
